Spinach & Cheddar Salad
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (9 oz.) bag baby spinach leaves or spinach and julienned carrots
- 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargento® ChefStyle Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
- 2 slices bacon, preferably applewood smoked thick bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes or yellow teardrop tomatoes or combination
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced small red onion, separated into rings
- 1/3 cup ranch or creamy peppercorn salad dressing
- =Optional garnishes:
- Chopped hard cooked egg, seasoned croutons, freshly ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS

Combine spinach, 1/2 cup cheese, bacon, tomatoes and red onion in a large bowl. Drizzle with dressing. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and garnish as desired.
