Sargento Foods Hosts Tailgate Takeover Featuring Packers Alum LeRoy Butler

PLYMOUTH, Wis., Oct. 24, 2023 – Sargento Foods Inc., the Official Cheese of the Green Bay Packers, will host a tailgate takeover at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. on Sunday, October 29 to celebrate the Packers season and Packers Nation fans! The Game Day Legend event will include sweepstakes, games and the opportunity to meet Green Bay Packers alum LeRoy Butler.

TAILGATE TAKEOVER

The takeover kicks off at 8:00 a.m. CT, with three interactive stations to dial up the family fun and friendly competition. Legends in the making can also enjoy gameday classics made even better with Sargento cheese, such as charcuterie spreads, a chili bar, cheeseburgers and cheesy dips. Located on the east side of Lambeau Field, near the Oneida Nation Gate additional festivities will include the below: 

• Football fans can get in the competitive spirit with tailgating games such as Bags,​ super-sized Connect 4. Tailgaters will receive FREE samples of Sargento cheese, Sargento coupons and temporary tattoos. 

• No game day is complete without bragging rights, which is why Sargento is bringing “Shirley” – an Airstream trailer – for fun photo ops to be featured on Sargento social channels. Touchdown dances and game day faces are highly encouraged thanks to the life-size football props, cutouts, giant helmets, banner flags and more.  

• It wouldn’t be a takeover without a visit from one of the ultimate legends himself: Green Bay Packers alum and retired safety, LeRoy Butler. Butler will be on-site, taking pictures and meeting fans from 10AM to Noon.      

GAME DAY LEGEND SWEEPSTAKES

The fun doesn’t stop there! Diehard fans can also enter an exclusive month-long sweepstakes for a chance to win Green Bay Packers prizes. There will be four (4) lucky winners who will receive Packers game tickets, Lambeau Field stadium tour passes, Packers Hall of Fame passes, $100 credit to the Packers Pro Shop and a customized jersey.
